04-09 Apr: Luxembourg/Belgium (2)

Moving on to Belgium…

06-07 Apr>> THIS IS BRUSSELS (:

The Brussels Town Hall

The Grand Place

Manneken Pis. The famous peeing boy of Belgium. Don’t even know how it came about.

Ouch.

Brussels Waffles. Shiok! But mega ex.

Galeries Royales St Hubert

The pulpit in the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula

The Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art. Now I know Tintin and the Smurfs originated in Belgium.

Which of these was your favourite? Haha.

Muziek Instrumenten Museum

The Mont des Arts

The Atomium. This structure represents an iron crystal, magnified 165 billion times!
Inside the Atomium.

Brasserie Cantillon – A tradition family-run brewery.

Cheers! Having a taste of the Brussels beer – gueuze. It is a blend of lambic beers which has the dryness and sparkle of a good champagne. A rather unique taste, I must say.

Ok, that’s about it for Brussels. Didn’t quite like that place actually. Maybe I was just bored of seeing buildings after buildings which are all of the same architectural style.

To be continued…
