04-09 Apr: Luxembourg/Belgium

This period’s supposed to be the exam week followed by Easter hols, so we decided to take the opportunity to make our first trip outta the Netherlands to Luxembourg and Belgium. Ok, wont talk much, so just look at the pics (:

04-05 Apr>> THIS IS LUXEMBOURG (:

The Casemates of a fortified castle.

Rue du Marche aux Herbes. Palais Grand-Ducal on the right.

Vianden, a small medieval town in the Ardennes.

The Castle of Vianden. Picture totally ruined by the crane.

From the top of the castle.

What on earth went through my head when my head went through.

Self-entertainment (:

I thank God for my crazy friends.

Keep seeing many of these creatures (I believe they are antelopes?) in Luxembourg. I think its for promoting the region as a European capital of culture.

Quick Burger. This picture forever makes me hungry.

The cleanest, the newest, the BEST hostel we’ve stayed in so far.

All in all, Luxembourg is a very beautiful city with magnificent landscape. But its really small (populated with 0.5 million people), so you can finish it in a day. Anyway, just a side, I found SUVs and station wagons characteristic of Luxembourg. I guess the people really need more powerful vehicles to conquer the steep slopes.

Next up: BELGIUM.
To be continued…
